The project was to design a mixed use building that accommodates hotels, co-working spaces, commercial units with car showroom at the ground level. The building was to be a high rise structure located in Kannur, Kerala on a 2.5 acre site. My concept was Coral Reefs. The design involved utilizing the maximum usage of site with a curved portion to accommodate the uneven site boundary. The material was a combination of glass and aluminum. I believe I was able to achieve the design requirements and the overall design looked good.

The requirement is to design a housing solution catering to the residents of the locality where the site was located. The site was in rajender nagar, bangalore, one of the poorer sections of the city. My concept was "street in the skies"- made famous by Architect Le-Corbusier. My design solution was to provide a vertical building with ramp as the main access which encourages the concept of streets on the skies. The layout was organicaly designed to expand horizontally and vertically with plenty of open spaces which will form tiny neighborhoods among the residents.

This was one of the first designs we were given for Interior design. The problem was to redesign our existing hostel room (for 3 students) such that everyone have privacy while sleeping , have a space to study without getting disturbed and have a cupboard to put their personal items. I solved it by having a single bunk bed and a regular bed. The bunk bed was moved away from window to avoid blocking light. Individual study space was tucked between cupboards to get semi privacy with space for storage for books etc.

Project was to design an interior for a restaurant located in Mangalore with emphasis on color as a visual experience and texture as a tactile mode. In my design, I have used bamboo as a major material to enhance the texture. Pastel colors are used as a backdrop with sharp contrasting colors for furniture. Natural materials like marble and granite is used for flooring and walls. Lighting is a combination of spots and accents with base ambient in the backdrop. Overall I was satisfied with the final outcome.

The project was to reuse existing container for a 1-bed room house to be located at a site which was in a hilly region. The design required 3 containers attached to one another with one on top to give a bedroom at the upper level. The base of the container was held on pillars with some parts of flooring removed and replaced with glass to get view below since the site was sloping down .

As part of Interior Design project, we had to design an office layout with emphasis on interior lighting. Other than good lighting for workstations , importance was given for ambient lighting with focused spots to emphasize a detail or a space.

This was our minor project to design a dwelling for working class. The site is in Munnar, Kerala. The users were agrarian community many of whom work outside and the others have cultivable land. The design called for community based living but due to land scarcity, vertical approach was decided. Each floor of the building have 2 - 4 houses with ample open space for many community based activities like drying grains, clothes etc. Each floor becomes a neighborhood community center where the residents can interact with each other.
