Project was to design an interior for a restaurant located in Mangalore with emphasis on color as a visual experience and texture as a tactile mode. In my design, I have used bamboo as a major material to enhance the texture. Pastel colors are used as a backdrop with sharp contrasting colors for furniture. Natural materials like marble and granite is used for flooring and walls. Lighting is a combination of spots and accents with base ambient in the backdrop. Overall I was satisfied with the final outcome.
