India is poised to dominate the 21st century, according to Syed Mohamed Beary’s address to the recent graduates of BIT (Bearys Institute of Technology) and BEADS (Bearys Enviro-Architecture Design School). The graduation ceremony took place on December 16, 2023, at the Bearys Arena, Bearys Knowledge Campus near Mangalore University.

Dr. Jayaraj Amin, Vice Chancellor of Mangalore University, commenced the ceremony with an inaugural address, followed by Prof. (Dr.) M Abdul Rahiman, former Vice Chancellor of Kannur and Calicut Universities, delivered the graduation day address. Dr. Sampath JM, a prominent HR Evangelist and Leadership Coach gave the keynote address. The event, presided over by Syed Mohamed Beary, Chairman of Bearys Academy of Learning, featured guests of honour Ar. Sandeep Jagadeesh and Rizma Banu.

Dr. Amin congratulated the graduates, emphasizing the significance of self-recognition and acknowledging the pivotal role of educational institutions and parental support. Prof. Rahiman underscored the importance of empathy in achieving success, citing the deliberate efforts that lead to triumph.

Dr. Sampath JM urged graduates to become creators of knowledge in the evolving landscape of Artificial Intelligence. In his presidential address, Syed Mohamed Beary advised the graduates to embrace entrepreneurship, emphasizing the virtues of truthfulness, trustworthiness, and compassion. He expressed optimism about India’s role in the 21st century and encouraged graduates to contribute selflessly to society.
Beary cautioned against a purely materialistic approach to work and highlighted the limitations of artificial intelligence, emphasizing the irreplaceable value of the human touch. Ar. Sandeep Jagadeesh and Rizma Banu addressed the gathering on “Threshold in Architecture” and “Life Beyond Job,” respectively.

The event also felicitated Mohammed Aashiq, the first chef from South India to win the MasterChef India competition. Graduating students received certificates and took an oath administered by Dr. Aziz Musthafa. Syed Mohamed Beary unveiled a Memoir, and alumni and PhD awardees of BIT were honoured. The best outgoing students and academic toppers were recognized, and the event concluded with a vote of thanks from BEADS Principal Ar. Khaleel Sheikh.

In his closing remarks, Syed Beary revealed plans to establish Bearys Global University for Societal Happiness, expanding into emerging sciences and medical sciences.
