International Women’s Day was celebrated on 09/03/2020 at BIT/BEADS Campus. The theme for this year was “GENDER EQUALITY AND WOMEN’S RIGHTS”.
International Women’s Day was celebrated at BIT/BEADS Campus with the theme “GENDER EQUALITY AND WOMEN’S RIGHTS”. The event was presided by Dr. S I Manjur Basha-BIT Principal , Ar. Ashok L P Mendonca – BEADS Principal , Ms. Mamatha Bhandary – Admissions, and Ms. Mubeena Parveen , Asst. Prof (E&C).
The chief guest for the program was Mrs. Nasreen Bint Ahmed Bawa, Principal, Hidayah MESCO Arabic Teachers Training College, President Women’s Wing, Hidayah Foundation, who gave a very motivating talk highlighting the woman’s role in building the family and the society along with the realization of her rights and empowerment.
Three women staff from housekeeping, gardening and mess were recognized for their excellent work culture and were awarded with a citation and certificate.
The program concluded with the National Anthem.
