The professional will be encouraged to think beyond personal sustenance and satisfaction to be an agent of change in society, while bringing forth design solutions that are functionally sound, architecturally significant, and environmentally sustainable, and yet, offer the highest value for the patron’s investment.

CHAIRMAN’S MESSAGE

The seed of imparting quality education especially to the have-nots was sown way back in 1906 when our late grandfather Kote Sufi Saheb, set-up a primary school in our village of Kodi in coastal Karnataka. Since its establishment, the Bearys Group has embraced it as a core organizational value and assiduously committed itself to imparting quality education and providing equal opportunity to one and all.
Our 116-year eventful journey to educational excellence now includes 22 institutions of higher learning, over 6000 students and 23,000 alumni, who have done us proud, in diverse walks of life. Bearys Institute of Technology (BIT) and Bearys Enviro-Architecture Design School (BEADS) are the flagbearers of the Bearys educational endeavour.

PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE

In a world which is facing the dual challenge of providing for quality-built environment to meet the needs of the burgeoning population and the ever-worsening ecological degradation of the planet, there is a crying need to evolve a fresh thought process in meeting the physical and emotional needs of the inhabitants of the settlements. The responsibility of sensitising and shaping the new thought process falls squarely on the shoulders of academia and BEADS is the outcome in this direction. Since its inception, BEADS has been making earnest attempts to influence the young minds passing through its portals and has vowed to continue this mission to make its produce the leaders in this direction.
